Welcome to Orisberg

Beautiful nature, long history and cultural milieu with a neo-classical chapel dating back to 1831 give Orisberg a sense of timelessness and peace. For generations the place has been a source of inspiration for artists, for example  the composer Jean Sibelius spent time here.

Orisberg is located on the plains of Southern Ostrobothnia  at Isokyrö between Vaasa and Seinäjoki.  A Christian Recreation and Retreat Centre on the grounds of the Estate Orisberg offers good services  for visitors in the summer time.

The neo-classical chapel dating back to 1831 was designed by famous architect Carl Ludvig Engel.  For generations the place has been a source of inspiration for artists, for example Jean Sibelius spent time here.

Orisberg is one of the recreation centers run by Logos Ministries in Finland, an organization within the Lutheran Church of Finland. Church services are held in the chapel every Sunday at  1 pm during summer. The centre is also a venue for various camps and theme events.
