Warm welcome to Säynämö
Since 1963 Säynämö has served holiday makers in this beautiful part of Finland by the Heinävesi Water Route, a national heritage landscape.
The area of Säynämö consists of 30 hectares of land. Many of the buildings are old log houses moved here from the area. The oldest building is over 200 years old.
For those coming by their own boat there in the guest harbor there are four overnight places for boats as well as buoys and places by shore to fasten the boat . Electricity is available both to boats and caravans. Visitors can wash laundry and have a sauna or a shower. Sauna can be booked in advance by phone. There are also several places for making open fire by the lake.
A café and a kiosk serve visitors daily. Delicious homemade meals are available most of the day.
Canoes, kayaks and rowing boats are available for rent as well as larger rowing boats for 17 or 9 people.

- You can also step onboard an inland water ship sailing by daily on the Savonlinna - Kuopio route. It stops at Säynämö's own pier. A tour on one of these ships is an unforgettable experience - you can admire the beauty of the nature and versatile water route with hundeds of islands.

Säynämö is one of the six recreation centers run by Logos Ministries in Finland, an organization active within the Lutheran Church of Finland. Logos Ministries was founded in 1945. It was born as a result a spiritual revival in Finland after the 2nd world war. The organization has ministry among all age groups and it works in co-operation with local parishes with a mission to share the good news of life and hope in Jesus Christ our Savior.
