Orisberg is located on the plains of Southern Ostrobothnia at Isokyrö between Vaasa and Seinäjoki. A Christian Recreation and Retreat Centre on the grounds of the Estate Orisberg offers good services for visitors in the summer time.
There are cabins for rent, well equipped camping area for tents and caravans, cooking facilities, sauna by a small lake. A café in an old vicarage serves delicious meals.
Beautiful nature, long history and cultural milieu with a neo-classical chapel designed by famous architect Engel give Orisberg a sense of timelessness and peace. For generations the place has been a source of inspiration for artists, for example the composer Jean Sibelius spent time here.
Orisberg is one of the recreation centers run by Logos Ministries in Finland, an organization within the Lutheran Church of Finland. Church services are held in the chapel every Sunday at 10 am during summer. The centre is also a venue for various camps and theme events.
